What is AME, and what kind of trips do you offer?
AME is a luxury travel agency that specialises in curated group and private trips designed to provide memorable, immersive experiences worldwide. Our offerings range from cultural adventures and wellness retreats to bucket-list experiences and luxury escapes. You can join a group trip or contact us to plan a private trip.
Who can join an AME trip?
Our trips are open to travellers aged 21 - 55, whether you're a solo traveler, couple, or a group of friends. We welcome anyone with a sense of adventure and an appreciation for unique travel experiences!
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes, all AME travellers are required to have travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical expenses, and emergency evacuations. We can recommend trusted providers if you need assistance arranging coverage.
Booking and Payments
How do I book a trip?
Booking is simple! Once you've chosen your trip, click on the "Book Now" button and you will be redirected to the Stripe platform for payment. All payments related to the trip must be conducted exclusively through Stripe or bank transfer.
What is included in the trip price?
Each trip is unique, but generally, the cost includes accommodations, most meals, scheduled activities, on-ground transportation, and the support of our experienced trip hosts. Flights, personal expenses, and some meals may not be included, so please check the individual trip details.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! We offer flexible payment plans that allow you to spread out the cost of your trip in instalments.
What if I need to cancel my trip?
All deposits are non-refundable, however, you can transfer your deposit to a future AME Travel trip of your choice.
If you’re over 60 days away from departure, switching to another trip is easy! Simply send an email to us and move your payment balance over to another trip of your choice. Please note if your accommodations have already been booked the property may apply penalties – our team will always try to book flexible options, however, if the property has a strict cancellation policy the credit applied to your account will be applied to cancellation fees by the property.
Cancellations within 30-60 days of your departure date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total amount paid after the deposit. The remaining 50% balance will be applied as a credit towards a future trip.
Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled departure date or less are subject to a 100% charge of the total amount paid after the deposit.
Trip Planning
Will AME assist with flights and visas?
Yes, we can provide support on flights and visas. Flight recommendations are included in your package. Visa consultation is a separate paid service, please contact us to book a consultation.
Are meals included on AME trips?
Most trips include some meals, typically daily breakfast and two dinners, with free time for you to explore local dining. Specifics will vary, so check the itinerary for details on what’s included.
What should I pack?
After booking, we’ll provide you with a packing list tailored to your trip’s destination and activities. In general, we recommend packing comfortable clothing, any personal essentials, and travel insurance documentation.
How large are AME group trips?
Our group sizes are usually intimate to ensure a personalised experience. This allows everyone to connect and fully enjoy the adventure in a supportive environment.
Do I need to come with a friend for the trip?
No, you don’t have to come with a friend. Many participants join solo, and it’s a great opportunity to make new friends during the trip.
During Your Trip
Will I have free time to explore on my own?
Absolutely! Each trip balances group activities with free time for you to unwind or explore independently. Our itineraries are designed to give you a mix of guided experiences and personal time to suit your travel style.
What level of fitness is required?
Our trips vary in activity levels. Some include more relaxed activities like cultural tours and beach days, while others may include hiking or adventure sports. Each trip listing will note the activities so you can choose what’s best for you.
Are tips included in the price?
Tips are not generally included, as tipping customs vary by destination. However, we’ll advise you on tipping guidelines specific to your trip, and our guides are always available to help.

How can I stay connected with AME after the trip?
We’d love for you to stay in touch! Follow us on social media, join our membership, and check out our website for news on upcoming trips and special events. We will often stay in touch through follow-up communications and exclusive offers.
Can I leave a review of my experience?
Yes, we’d love to hear from you! We’ll send a follow-up survey after the trip, or you can leave feedback directly on our website or social media pages.
Our Terms of Service
Odyssey
1. Booking & Confirmation
All group trip bookings are confirmed upon receipt of deposit or full payment via the designated payment platform.
By booking, you agree to the full itinerary structure and these terms.
2. Payments & Refund Policy
All payments made towards group trips are non-refundable, unless the trip is cancelled by AME Travel.
In the event of cancellation by AME Travel, guests will be offered:
A full refund, or
A transfer to a future trip
3. Accommodation
For guests selecting shared occupancy, AME Travel will make every effort to secure twin-bed arrangements.
However, due to hotel availability and operational constraints, this cannot be guaranteed. In some cases, shared occupancy may result in a double bed shared between guests.
By selecting shared occupancy, you acknowledge and accept this possibility.
4. Travel Insurance
Guests are required to obtain comprehensive travel insurance prior to the trip.
This should cover, at minimum:
Trip cancellation or interruption
Medical expenses and emergencies
Personal belongings and baggage
AME Travel is not responsible for any costs incurred due to lack of adequate insurance coverage.
5. Travel & Logistics
Guests are responsible for ensuring they arrive in the destination in line with the communicated itinerary start time, unless otherwise specified.
AME Travel will coordinate all in-country logistics and experiences as outlined.
6. Cancellations & Changes
AME Travel reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to the itinerary, including accommodation, activities, or timing, where necessary to maintain the quality or feasibility of the trip.
7. Media Consent
By booking and attending a group trip, you grant AME Travel permission to capture and use photography and video content for marketing and promotional purposes.
8. Conduct
Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards fellow travellers, hosts, and partners.
AME Travel reserves the right to remove any guest whose behaviour negatively impacts the group or experience, without refund.
9. Liability
AME Travel acts as a curator and organiser of experiences and is not liable for unforeseen circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to travel delays, third-party service disruptions, or force majeure events.
Leisure Club
1. Membership & Booking
Leisure Club is a curated members’ offering providing access to experiences hosted by AME Travel. By booking an experience, you confirm your participation and agreement to these terms.
All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed upon receipt of payment.
2. Payments & Refund Policy
All payments made for Leisure Club experiences are non-refundable.
In the unlikely event that AME Travel cancels or significantly alters an experience, guests will be offered:
A transfer to a future experience, or
A credit equivalent to the amount paid
3. Cancellations & Attendance
If you are unable to attend an experience, your booking will be forfeited. We recommend ensuring availability prior to confirming your place.
4. Media Consent
By attending a Leisure Club experience, you consent to the capture and use of photography and video content for marketing and promotional purposes across AME Travel platforms.
5. Conduct
We aim to create a considered and respectful environment. AME Travel reserves the right to refuse participation or remove guests whose behaviour disrupts the experience or other attendees.
6. Changes to Experiences
AME Travel reserves the right to make minor changes to venues, timings, or formats where necessary to maintain the quality of the experience.
