Pilates & Brunch

Here at AME Travel, we host community events to create immersive experiences that promote wellness, connection, and community. By bringing together like-minded individuals in beautiful settings, we aim to provide opportunities for relaxation, rejuvenation, and meaningful interactions.

Our events offer a space for people to unwind, engage in enriching activities, and forge lasting friendships. Whether it's through pilates sessions, matcha ceremonies, or shared meals, our goal is to foster a sense of belonging and well-being among our participants. It is also a safe space to indulge with us before taking the leap to join a group trip.

On a lovely Saturday afternoon, our community gathered for a day of wellness and rejuvenation. We started our journey in Heartcore, a lovely studio situated in the heart of Chelsea. The comforting scents of lemongrass, rosemary and eucalyptus permeated the room, easing us into our Pilates session.

Our instructor Heather led us through a 3 stage beginner session which worked our entire body, we left the session feeling lengthened and lightened.

After our session, we headed out to our brunch location, a beautiful dining room in Boha London where we had a Matcha ceremony performed by Monique of The Matcha Yaad. A company that blends the traditional Japanese Matcha with bold Jamaican flavours to produce flavourful yet functional beverages to fuel your productivity.

We were whisked to a small village in Kyoto to learn about the trade of Matcha and the art of making it. We also got an opportunity to make our own Matcha drinks using a Chasen, a dainty bamboo tool made for the sole purpose of whisking Matcha.

We learned about the benefits and versatility of matcha, trying different flavours including peach, vanilla and a ginger refresher.

Brunch was then served, an array of salads curated by the chef at Boha London with their house dessert, the Boha mess. It was a culinary delight enjoyed by everyone.

The ladies had an amazing time bonding over matcha making, breaking bread at the dining table which was followed by some ice breakers. Interests and dream bucket list destinations were shared, we also had conversations about current challenges we needed support with and individual strengths we could use to support others.

We formed a stronger bond with our community, which will continue to flourish as we host more events and trips.
